Kathryn lived for the past 22 years in her flat in Holland Park Gardens (London) ; quite close to Grenfell Tower where 80 tenants perished in the fire last year. All was well until 06.02.2018 on waking up she saw that the floor of her flat was on fire coming from below while the smoke alarms remained silent. She alerted the fire brigade and just managed to escape with her handbag and the clothes she was wearing. Everything else was gone in the fire and the tenant in the flat below lost his life. It was such a horrifying experience that Kathryn is still recovering from the trauma. She has lost all her possessions, her art work, her furniture, everything gone up in smoke. She did not have content insurance to claim for her lost belongings so I am asking everyone for emergency help. Every little amount counts. Imagine finding yourself in a similar situation.
