Emergency fund for Erin O'Brien

This Gofundme is to support Erin O'Brien, an artist who just had her first solo show in New York City, and 10 days later lost her apartment and almost everything in it to a devastating fire. On the morning of Nov. 9th, the 3-alarm fire swept through Erin's apartment building in Kensington, Brooklyn, displacing people in over 33 units. She lost so much: her bed, sofa, shelves, books, bedding, clothes, kitchenware, printer, chairs, shelves, and the list goes on. Erin also lost the place she has lived for 12 years - a rare, rent-stabilized apartment she has called home since 2010. Given the state of the rental market in Brooklyn, we're raising money to help secure a new apartment: money for security and deposit fees, several months' rent, and the ability to refurnish and buy supplies for a new space.
