The Story
A Miracle Met with a Crisis:
In 2024, our family witnessed a miracle. During the birth of our daughter, Saraya, my wife Ashley survived a near-fatal Amniotic Fluid Embolism (AFE). She fought through placental abruption and DIC, returning home to us when the odds were entirely against her. But that kind of survival leaves deep, invisible wounds. Ashley lives with severe PTSD and anxiety rooted in that trauma—conditions that make her current environment in jail not just a hardship, but a genuine threat to her mental and physical stability.
The Reality at Home:
While Ashley is fighting through her triggers behind bars, I am here at home trying to keep our world from collapsing. I am currently the sole caregiver for our four children: Kailynn (8), Kenzlee (6), Adriel (4), and 1-year-old Saraya.
I am at a breaking point.
Trying to be both mom and dad, managing the needs of five kids, and preparing for two massive legal battles with no financial resources has left me completely lost. I want to be the rock for my children, but the weight of these two situations is more than one person can carry alone:
- Ashley’s Release: She is being held on a child support warrant with a $4,500 purge amount. We need her home, not just for the sake of our children, but for her own health.
- Bringing Gatlin Home: My son, Gatlin, age 12, was recently taken out of state without permission. I am fighting an emergency legal battle to get him back, but the lawyer fees and interstate legal requirements are mounting daily.
Why We Need You:
I’ve spent my life trying to solve problems on my own, but I have reached the end of my rope. And at a time that I have never had so many people depending solely on me. We have no money left to fight these battles. We are asking for our community to help us bridge this gap so I can get my wife the help she needs and bring my son back home.
Every dollar goes directly toward:
- The $4,500 purge amount to secure Ashley's release.
- Retaining specialized legal counsel to navigate the case for Gatlin's return.
If you can’t give, please pray for our kids and share our story. We just want our family back together.
