Hi, my name is John and I was recently let go from my job when a private equity company acquired the start up I was working for.

In addition, the engine in my car went out some months before that and it has made it extra hard to find new work.

I worked from home as an account manager and sales person in cybersecurity, telecom and IT before that and am looking for similar work. Any suggestions or opportunities are appreciated.

This was all very unexpected and after more than two months without work I am very desperate for funds. I am being kicked out of my apartment and can’t pay many of my bills.

I have also not been able to file an unemployment claim as fraud was committed in my name back in March of 2021 and the office here in Colorado has yet to clear that claim, which I reported at the time, before I can put in my own legitimate one.

In short, I have had a string of bad luck since January that I can’t believe. I am in a very desperate situation and am looking for funding for my move out of my apartment, get my engine replaced and pay my other essential bills as I keep looking for work and dealing with the unemployment insurance.
