Hello everyone,

I’m reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for help covering urgent medical care for my 1-year-old cat. He was recently diagnosed with Feline Lower Urinary Tract Disease (FLUTD). It's a painful and dangerous condition that makes it hard for him to urinate.

He suddenly stopped being able to pee and was in visible pain. I rushed him to the vet, where they confirmed he had a urinary blockage, a life-threatening emergency. He received treatment to remove the blockage and fluids to help flush his system, but his condition requires continued care, medications, and monitoring to prevent it from coming back and that comes with a cost I can’t manage alone.

After this initial scare he relapsed and had to go to the emergency vet a second time and is currently still there recovering and getting more treatment to prevent any further instances.

I'm doing everything I can to keep him comfortable, safe and healthy, but the treatment is ongoing and pet insurance won't cover this chronic condition. I’ve set this GoFundMe goal at $2,590 to help cover the emergency vet visit and treatment as well as his painkillers and other medications.

He’s still very young and I want to do everything to make sure he lives a long and healthy life, but I can’t do it without some help to cover his medical costs. If you can donate, any amount at all, it would truly mean the world. And if you can’t, sharing this helps a lot.
