Emergency Earthquake Relief For Haiti

Tax deductible

On August 14, 2021 Haiti awoke to a 7.2 magnitude earthquake, one that was worse than the earthquake of 2010. The Haitian American Museum of Chicago (HAMOC) has a responsibility to support those who were impacted.

The money raised will be sent to directly support the locality of Picot, Haiti. The museum will be sending money to 5 families, one of which is the family of HAMOC's current Artist in Residence. These community members know exactly what they and their neighbors need in order to start rebuilding. This will ensure all funds are making the greatest and most sustainable impact in Haiti.

During these times we must be reminded of the resiliency of Haitians.

Please donate what you can. Every dollar makes an impact. Thank you for the support.

If you have any questions, please reach out to the museum.
