Hi Friends!
Empress Rosie was rushed to the emergency room on Thursday. She was refusing to eat and has lost a lot of weight. Her foster mom took her to a vet who said she believed she has some uterine infection and needs emergency care.
Rosie has been a cat who’s been having litter after litter after litter. She had a home and was in a critical state when surrendered to Kitty Connection after delivering 10 kittens and one passed away. Please help us help Empress Rosie.
*UPDATE*
Rosie ended up having Intussusception, a serious medical condition where one part of the intestine slides inside an adjacent segment like a telescope, causing blockages, swelling, and reduced blood flow.
Her incision is healing and she will need to get her stitches removed. She’s eating and pooping again - hooray!!! Warm wishes and speedy recovery for this empress!
