Emergency Food for Rescued Cats, Dogs

Emergency food and transportation support for rescued cats, dogs at the Ukrainian border in Moldova. Today 225 dogs and 82 cats were taken out of Kharkov. We rescued all of them from the border and took them to our temporary shelter in Moldova.

We PennyAppeal volunteer team are on the ground at the Ukrainian border in Moldova, helping Ukrainian refugees and rescued animals, this is our third day here. We made the decision to leave our homes in Dublin, Ireland, and travel to Moldova to offer aid and support for the Ukrainian people and animals.

We need immediate support to feed all cats and dogs until we take them out of Moldova to Dublin, Ireland. Also, we need emergency funds to transport all of them from Moldova to Ireland.

Each cat's one-month food cost is €9.60 and the cat's air cargo travel cost is €40. To feed and transfer each cat will cost €49.60 and for 82 cats need €4067.

As well each dog's one-month food cost is €17.40 and the dog's air cargo travel cost is €55. To feed and transfer each dog will cost €72.40 and for 225 dogs need €16290.

19th March 2022, rescued 23 dogs. For their food, treatment and transport need €3965.

22nd March 2022, rescued 18 dogs. For their food and transport need €1303.

23rd March 2022, rescued 173 dogs. For their food and transport need €12525.

4th April 2022, rescued 16 cats and 2 dogs. For their food and transport need €940.

17th April 2022, rescued 30 cats and 3 dogs. For their food and transport need €1705.
