An emergency flooding has taken place in Albania, with seaside cities such as Durrës experiencing devastating conditions in the early morning of January 6, 2026. In many of these surrounding and peripheral areas, the majority of residents rely on crops, livestock, and seasonal tourism as their primary sources of income.
With an average monthly income of around $500, these communities do not have access to flood insurance or financial safety nets. For many families, this disaster means that a lifetime of savings, hard work, and personal sacrifice has been lost overnight. Homes, farmland, and livelihoods have been severely damaged, leaving families struggling to meet even their most basic needs.
Your donation today can be the difference between families being forced to start over alone and having immediate support during a time of crisis.
(Every donation will go through a respected Albanian American organization and distributed to communities for food, clean drinking water, basic hygiene supplies and house reparations)
