Emergency Flood Relief: For 11 month old Twin boys & Parents

Donation protected

Hi, my name is Meagan Wilding and I am reaching out because me, and my 11-month-old twin boys, and their Father have been devastated by the flash floods that hit our community on December 21st, 2025. I also have my three other children that stay with me part time, ages 15, 12, and 10.
With no warning from emergency alert until after an hour of the event taking place and the business of life with two infants, the water caught us completely off guard. In a matter of moments, our home was no longer safe. Just four days before Christmas, we have been uprooted from our home, our routine, and our beds.

Our Current Situation:
Right now, Me the babies, and Dad are displaced., staying at a motel for the fourth night with no means of paying for another. While friends and family have been kind, it is incredibly difficult to house a walking 11 month old and a crawling 11 month old in homes filled with Christmas decorations and breakables. I am constantly stressed about the boys’ safety and them accidentally damaging our loved ones' things.
We are currently without 2 playpens or a dedicated safe space for the boys to sleep and play.

How Your Donations Will Help:
The road to getting back home is going to be expensive and exhausting. Your support will go directly toward:
Emergency Housing: Funds for motel rooms where the boys and I can have a baby-proofed environment to crawl and play safely until our home is livable, and while Dad is at work trying to get us through this crisis, on his modest income.
• Home Repairs: We had just installed brand-new carpets three months ago. Now, we have to strip everything and replace the carpets and padding to prevent mold and make the house safe for the babies again. (Honestly, I'm not sure how much damage we have completely. Im grateful for interior plaster walls.)
• Baby Essentials: Replacing items lost in the flood and securing portable playpens so the boys have a consistent place to rest.

A Bittersweet Milestone:
The twins turn one year old on January 10th. My heart breaks that their first birthday and their first Christmas are being spent in survival mode. Mine and Dads only goal is to get them back into a stable, clean environment as soon as possible.
Any amount—even the cost of a cup of coffee—helps us and the babies get one step closer to home. If you cannot donate, please consider sharing our story.
Thank you for your kindness and for helping us find our footing again.
