Emergency Family relocation Fund

Dearest friends,

You are being called to support Selena and her children now. They will need support as they try and stabilise and start over. They are feeling disoriented and un sure of what the immediate future holds for them. This is our opportunity to surround them love and hopefully some financial security. This will support them, whilst they try to navigate toward, a new to them, safe and healing home.

After calling Mayne Island home for the best part of ten years. Becoming and thriving as focal members in the community there, Selena and her children were faced with an impossible decision. In order to be safe, healthy and well, they had to suddenly leave their home behind.

Selena is putting all her trust in the universe and the people who love her now, to guide them safely to their next destination. And although I have no doubt they will, as a family, land on their strong and capable feet. All of my heart goes out to her as they navigate this un expected relocation in these trying and already turbulent times. I don't need to start talking to you about the ridiculousness that is the rental market, or the shortage in affordable safe childcare or the ungodly cost of....FOOD, for you to already know how scary and full of uncertainties having to start over must be for them. Let's do everything we can to support as smooth a transition as possible for these sweet and deserving souls.
