Emergency Eye Surgery for Student

Hi, my name is Maria Groth, Special Education teacher at YES Prep Southwest. One of my students need an emergency cornea transplant. He might lose complete sight if he does not receive the surgery in the next couple of weeks. This student is an 8th grader. His name is Kevin, and is a very sweet and dedicated boy.

 

Kevin is a vivacious 8th grader at YES Prep Southwest in Houston, Texas. His favorite subjects are Math and Reading.  Since he was younger, Kevin has struggled with vision issues in his right eye. Unfortunately, at the beginning of May, Kevin was diagnosed with glaucoma in his left eye. He is in need of an emergency cornea transplant or he would lose sight in both eyes. Kevin is young, courageous and smart. He and his family will be very grateful for any contribution to his surgery. If you have it in your heart to donate, please do.
