RALPH UPDATE

We would just like to start by saying how incredibly grateful we are for all the help and donations towards Ralph’s eye surgery. During a time of need, so many people came together to help fund his treatment, and we truly can’t thank each and every one of you enough.

Unfortunately, Ralph’s health hasn’t improved much since then. He has now developed an issue with his spine, which has caused his back legs to give up. He was rushed to an emergency vet in Birmingham, where he is currently being cared for.

We have been given a rough estimate of up to £15,000 for the surgery he may need.

We understand that many people may think the kindest option would be to put Ralph to sleep and end his pain, but as many of you know, Ralph is so much more than just a dog to us. Making that decision is not something I am ready to consider right now.

I have been doing everything I can to make Ralph’s life as comfortable as possible while he is still here, and I am thankfully now in a position where I don’t need to ask for help and can hopefully cover the costs myself.

That being said, I have received so many messages from people asking if they can still donate and support Ralph on this journey. This link is therefore available for anyone who would like to help, but please understand that I am not asking for donations. I simply appreciate those who genuinely want to support him.

Eye Surgery:

Hi everyone,

This is incredibly hard for me to write, but I am asking for help for my beloved dog, Ralph.

Recently, Ralph developed a severe infection in his eye that has gotten worse very quickly. Despite seeking veterinary care, and giving him the recommended medication, I have been told that he now urgently needs eye surgery to stop the infection, relieve his pain, and prevent further complications.

Unfortunately, the cost of the surgery and ongoing treatment is more than I can afford on my own. I never imagined being in this position, but we are running out of options and time. Watching him struggle and knowing he’s in pain has been heart-breaking.

I am asking for help to cover the cost of his emergency eye surgery.

Every donation, no matter the size, will go directly toward Ralph’s medical care. If you’re unable to donate, sharing this fundraiser would mean just as much to us.
