Our family has recently been faced with something no parent should ever have to prepare for. I'm asking for help to cover costs for Sean and Joanna as they have had to take my niece Lina to SickKids in Toronto. While they are focused on being by her side and supporting her through this, the reality is that the costs of making this possible are adding up.

They are covering travel and accommodations in Toronto, parking and meals away from home so that they can both be with her while they try to find a cause and solution to her medical situation that has left doctors unsure of her regression. On top of all of this, taking time away from work means loss of income on both sides. Joanna is a nurse and Sean is an electrician and I want to do everything I can to help ensure they can focus on little Lina without the overwhelming and unanticipated financial strain.
