Emergency expenses for Riley

Hi there! My name is Riley. I'm a queer, trans, and disabled person living in Philadelphia.

Let's get into it:

I quit my job in April because of the abuse I was going through there (because I quit, I cannot get unemployment). It took me a few weeks to find a part-time job to earn some income while I looked for full-time work.

On May 17th, two days before I was supposed to start my job, I got into a severe car accident when another person t-boned me at an intersection. I broke my wrist, totaled my car, and now have neck injuries on top of my chronic back pain. Because of my wrist injury, my job offer was rescinded.

I'm applying for jobs but have yet to secure one. My car was totaled at about $15,000. My medical bills are currently around $15,000. Insurance looks like it’s covering around 10% of that. I have an attorney but it looks like a settlement would not cover my medical expenses. I have no money to pay for the rest of this. 

I'm setting a goal of $10,000 to cover:

I have applied to 30+ jobs in the past couple months while I’m trying to heal from my injuries, but have not been able to secure a job yet. I’m feeling really defeated and don’t know what else to do. 

I know the world is hard right now, and other folks need more help than me.
