This fundraiser is for local mama and amazing community member Kate Van Olst, her new baby girl, and their family.

Kate's daughter was born on Sunday, September 17. Immediately, she was rushed to Bay State and then to Boston Children’s hospital with a heart issue. After many frightening days, baby girl is now stable and making improvements in the cardiac ICU. Her medical team is cautiously optimistic, although the exact condition and road to recovery are still unknown.

Kate and Ben will have to stay in Boston for several more weeks. They need support to cover the expenses of housing while in Boston and being away from their regular jobs for so long.
