Millions of Americans are now going hungry as the government shutdown continues.
Over 40 million people have had their SNAP benefits delayed or cut off this November, leaving families without food, seniors without support, and disabled individuals unable to access basic groceries.
There’s no clear end in sight — and as the holidays approach, the crisis is deepening.

• Families need help now — especially with Thanksgiving & Christmas coming.
Imagine not knowing how you’ll feed your children at Thanksgiving. Imagine the cold dread of counting one last can of beans while you try to hide your worry. Imagine being elderly, disabled, or out of work and hearing that SNAP benefits won’t be delivered this November — that the lifeline that puts food on your table is gone.
That’s not future fiction. It’s happening right now — in our own communities.
This campaign raises emergency funds to:
• Support disabled and elderly neighbors who cannot stand in long lines or travel to distribution sites.
• Provide direct help to families who need groceries for Thanksgiving and food through Christmas.
Real, immediate impact:
• $5 — A safe snack and comfort item for someone in need.
• $10 — 2 hot meals tonight.
• $25 — Grocery box for a small family.
• $50 — One day of groceries and essentials for a struggling household.
• $100 — Thanksgiving groceries for a family.
• $200 — Holiday meal + two weeks of staples for an elderly or disabled neighbor.
We will post weekly updates showing exactly how money is spent — receipts, photos of grocery boxes (no faces if someone requests privacy), and distribution tallies. Funds will be allocated first to partner food banks and Feeding America; a portion will be reserved for direct deliveries to seniors and disabled individuals who cannot access distribution points. If funds exceed urgent needs, donations will continue to support local food banks’ ongoing operations and individuals in need.
