Emergency hospitalization for Maze & Klaus, Corso Puppies

Meet Mazikeen and Klaus, the best, most perfect Cane Corso puppies you’d ever meet. They’re 5 months old and have become the main attraction at our house. Even the old man Rottie loves them.

They’re all so goofy, sweet, and full of love. They snuggle with a giant dinosaur plushie and follow us everywhere. They’re smart, healthy, and the puppies are growing fast—until this week turned our world upside down.

Less than an hour after ingesting a bottle of aspirin (meant for our 12-year-old Rottweiler’s pain), they began vomiting. We rushed them to the ER, where bloodwork confirmed massive kidney stress. Now, they’re both undergoing emergency dialysis and 24/7 monitoring to save their lives.

The vet demanded a $20,400 deposit, yes, deposit, for their treatment. We put that on our credit cards without a thought, but we need help. The Rottweiler has an appointment this week to address his new limp, the new lumps all over his body, and the cyst between his toes. We lost his brother last year to cancer already. My family can’t handle losing all 4 of them.
