Emergency Dental Work For Our Mom

My sister (Angie) and I are raising funds for our mom’s emergency dental surgery. We have visited several specialists to get different assessments and pricing and have found the best option will cost us around $18,000. The procedure consists of 3 stages over several months. This is an important procedure to reduce the extreme pain she experiences daily, and to minimize the chances for more infections and other illnesses to occur due to the state of her teeth and gums. 

Our mom’s job with Americorps was defunded in April by DOGE, and is now awaiting to get on social security. My sister and I share caretaking responsibilities for our mom, so these emergency costs are difficult to pay for entirely on our own without any other support.

Additionally, Angie recently suffered from 2nd and 3rd degree oil burns across her entire left hand. leg, and foot, which has taken her out of work and will have medical costs of her own which we do not yet know what the final bill is.
