Declan needs emergency dental surgery

I am trying to raise funds for my 5 year old grandson, Declan, who needs to have emergency dental surgery. He has insurance through the state, and for two years, his parents have had nothing but problems trying to get treatment for the multiple cavities he has. His condition is only getting worse. He has had multiple infections that cause him extreme discomfort to the point that it often affects his ability to eat. His parents finally found a pediatric oral surgeon in Glen Carbon that was able to get him on the high priority list and schedule his surgery for October 23rd. Unfortunately, they are an out of network provider and his insurance will only pay for the hospital stay, leaving his parents to come up with the out of pocket expense of $4,776.00 for the dental surgery. This needs to be paid in full by Oct. 1st. This surgery is our only hope to alleviate his discomfort and prevent the situation from escalating further.

Come to our fundraising event on Saturday, September 30th from 2-8 at the Rt. 66 Hotel & Conference Center located at 625 E. St. Joseph St. in Springfield, IL. There will be food, silent auction, bake sale, various games and entertainment for all ages, and more.
