Emergency Dental Surgery for Mr. Jinx

Hi! Our sweet boy, Mr. Jinx, needs emergency dental work. Thankfully our vet is willing to complete the procedure with a down payment so Jinx will be going in on Monday 1/20. However, we’re still working to cover the remaining costs of his care.

Mr. Jinx was recently diagnosed with stomatitis, a chronic and painful condition that causes inflammation in his mouth, making it difficult for him to eat, groom, and enjoy his daily life. After consulting with our vet, we learned that dental surgery, including extractions, is the best option to relieve his pain and improve his quality of life.

The estimated cost of the procedure is $1,100 and while we’ve managed to pull together part of the payment, we’re reaching out for help to cover the rest. Any contribution, no matter the amount, will make a difference in helping Mr. Jinx heal and get back to being his playful, loving self.

Update: Jinx is recovering from his dental procedure and is already feeling so much better! He had a total of 13 teeth removed and our vet expects that he will need to have the rest of his molars and pre molars removed within 1-2 years. Poor guy will definitely out live his teeth but that’s okay!! He’s happy and healthy which is all that matters :) and he’s definitely not upset about having to eat mostly pate haha
