Hey, everyone. It's Inda again. I did a fundraiser last year to get me to Tuscany for a writing workshop. The good news is I made it and got a lot of good experience from it. I've even finished drafting the text I went to have workshop. And also as the cover image indicates, I'm due to have a short story published in The Magazine of Fantasy & Science Fiction!

But that's where the good news ends. I know times are terrible for everyone, and I try to live my life so that I'm not a burden to anyone. However, I've found myself needing to work out some pretty serious debt, not a lot to the average millionaire but astronomical to me and my low income. I have been trying to work out a compromise for a couple of months now, but it's not looking to go my way.

So my birthday is in two weeks and I am making an appeal to anyone who would like to give me a gift and help me out. If I cannot get the compromise and have to pay the debt in full, then I could wipe out my savings to get most of it but it's still not enough to clear it. So if anyone would like to donate to my birthday fund, I'd really appreciate it. I was going to ask for a day off, but that's not going to happen.

Anyway, I would appreciate any and everything I can get, even a share to anyone who would have something to spare. However, please don't feel bad if you are unable to donate, and if you feel compelled to help someone else you feel needs it more, please do. We're all in dire straits and stretched thin, so I completely understand wanting to focus resources elsewhere. But if you do have it in you and on you, I'd like to thank you in advance.

By the way, if the compromise somehow comes through and I can pay less on the debt, I will pass funds along to a dear friend of mine who is also dealing with financial hardship at the moment as helping her out of debt is also on my wishlist even if I can't contribute right now.
