Emergency Appeal: Combat The Rising Cost of Living

This campaign is to offer support to people who are struggling with the rising living costs in the UK.

 

Homes in Great Britain will be hit by gas and electricity increases of 54% from 1 April. This is the biggest rise in the cost of energy bills in living memory. Prices are expected to rise again in six months time.

 

Lancashire Plumber James Anderson has been helping low income households by fixing their boilers for free, paying off heating bills and providing food boxes through his community initiative DEPHER.

 

He wants to continue to help the millions of people who may be struggling as prices continue to rise.

 

Funds raised from this campaign will be split; with half going towards James’s existing initiative DEPHER which helps people with heating issues and the other half will go to fundraisers that have been set up on our platform by individuals who are struggling with the rising cost of living.
