Hi my name is Lauren and this is Meatball.

For those of you who know me, having a cat of my own has always been my dream and Meatball has been the sweetest addition to my life.

It breaks my heart to say this summer we discovered that the best girl is not well. What started as a distended abdomen turned into a medical mystery. After x-rays, blood work, exams and numerous trips to the vet and the animal hospital, we ruled out FeLV, FIV and FIP only to find that poor Meatball is septic and has a mass surrounding her intestines.

The vet has spoken highly of Meatball, that she doesn't even seem to know that she is sick.

Even in the short time that I have had with my girl, it has been such a gift. I am thankful for the endless cuddles, climbing all over our home, and snacks pursued. I am also thankful for the family and friends who have kindly cared for my heart as we have gone through this.

I am doing my best to cover the costs of her treatments, but any help would mean the world to me.
