Heidi, a stray I rescued off the streets, was rushed to the emergency vet and diagnosed with pneumonia, heart worms, and intestinal parasites. She would have died without their care. Despite only being safe for a week, this incredibly sweet girl has already faced more than any dog should.

She now needs continued medication, oxygen treatment, heart worm treatment, intestinal parasite treatment, and help covering the cost of her emergency vet stay.

The good news is Heidi is expected to make a full recovery in the coming months. I’m a college student working part-time jobs, and while I’m doing everything I can, the cost of her emergency vet stay and treatments is more than I can handle alone. Any support helps give Heidi the healthy life she deserves.
