Roush is not just a dog — he is our family. For over a decade, he has been a loyal companion, a source of comfort, and a deeply loved member of our lives. Right now, he is facing a serious medical emergency, and we are doing everything we can to help him.

What began as sudden loss of appetite and lethargy quickly turned into multiple urgent vet visits. Despite fluids, medications, and supportive care, Roush continued to decline. After extensive testing to search for answers, he is now at the emergency veterinary hospital under the care of a cardiologist with suspected fluid around his heart — a potentially life-threatening condition that requires specialized care.

Because his diagnosis was unclear at first, veterinarians had to perform numerous tests to rule out different causes. These diagnostics were necessary just to understand what was happening — and treatment costs are only beginning.

Watching Roush in pain has been heartbreaking. The emotional toll is overwhelming, and the financial burden has grown rapidly with emergency visits, imaging, hospitalization, and specialist care.
