Emergency care for Aero the service dog
Tragically, our good friend and colleague Laurel Hilbert needs our help to fund emergency diagnostics and treatment for his beloved companion and service guide dog Aero.
Friendship Animal Hospital estimates that they need a deposit of at least $8,000 immediately to continue with diagnostics to identify proper treatment for his declining organs as a result of heat stroke that started this weekend. The hospital stated that this deposit will cover chest x rays, a full blood panel, stronger antibiotics, fluids, and continued hospitalization in critical care. The vets have said there is a chance we can save Aero and we appreciate your support as we do everything we can to try to make that happen.
Laurel has already over extended himself with the initial $3,500 he has paid for the past few days of hospitalization. We are aiming to raise $15,000 because we understand that if he survives, he will likely need several more days of costly hospitalization to stabilize.
Thank you all for your support during this difficult time!
