So, I came across a cat that is pregnant, and I am not one to turn my back on an animal in need. Long story short, she went into labor on Wednesday, April 22, 2026, so I put her in my bedroom, where she would be away from my cats and have a quiet place to give birth. I slept on the couch that night, and when I went to check on her in the morning, she was laying in my bed bleeding. I know it's not normal to leave your kittens, so I tried to put her with the kittens to feed them, and she didn't want any part of it. Also, she wasn't acting right. She is very weak and lethargic. I took her to six different places, trying to get her help, and I was given different answers every time, which all comes down to money. I don't have four to six thousand dollars to drop in the bucket. What I have come to learn is nobody really cares about pets, just money, and if you ain't got money, you don't get seen. I know there are charities, which I have tried a couple of them, and no response back. From my research, I am now smelling a foul odor, which indicates there is a dead baby inside her. I don't want her to die when something like this can be fixed. I don't have the funds, and that's how I ended up here. Thank you for listening.
