On the 6th of January, while driving on a motorway in Spain, my car brakes failed. In a terrifying moment, I managed to stop on the hard shoulder. Moments later, my car began smoking heavily, and flames quickly engulfed it. I was lucky to escape just before the car erupted into flames.

After two and a half traumatic hours with emergency services and firebrigade attending to me, I was finally transported the 2 hours home. Although thankfully I am alive and am safe and well, I now face a long insurance investigation, and even if my claim is successful, the payout may not cover the cost of a replacement car.

I live in the remote mountains of Andalusia, with no access to shops, pharmacies, or other essential services. Without a car, I am unable to get food for myself and my dogs or manage daily life.

I am seeking support to purchase a new car that I am in desperate need of.
