Hey all, my name is Amanda Maxwell and I am trying to raise money for my best friend of 8 yearsWendy Jones!!! Wendy just received some devestating news on Monday December 26th. She was rushed to Swedish Medical Hospital. This beautiful soul was diagnosed with stage 4 liver and lung cancer that has metastasized into her lymph nodes. Her pain has been unbearable, most days not being able to get out of bed. She has been struggling to make it through a full day of work as a caregiver. Wendy is a fun loving spunky and adventurous woman and she is in need of emergency funding for the medical costs she has at the hospital.

She was waiting to receive treatment until her Blue Cross Blue Shield medical insurance became valid but the pain was too much to handle and she needed to be admitted immediately!

In addition this woman loved to travel and used to use any free time she had to see new things and experience the joys of new places and experiences! We talked today, as she is laying in the hospital bed, and I said “ you know what, I’ve got an idea, write your bucket list and let’s knock them out and do as much as you can with this time on earth.”

Not only would any funding go to emergency bills but with the money raised hopefully Ms. Wendy will be able to see the ocean another time, experience a mountain getaway or seeing her family in Wisconsin, Florida and Texas!
