Emergency Bushfire Relief Fund for Adrian Brayne
Donation protected
On New Years Day 2020, Adrian Brayne of Tumbarumba, lost not only his home, but his income for the next 5 years.
Please donate to help Adrian rebuild a home and replace all of his possessions.
Adrian's property is located on the outskirts of Tumbarumba, in the New South Wales Snowy Valley region of Australia. His business, Obsession Wines, was the only fully-functioning winery of the region - annually processing about 500 tonne of locally grown grapes.
Adrian is now dealing with not only the loss of his home, but the realisation that his dream of operating his own winery and label may not be able to continue after the devastation. All of Adrian's grapes, and much of his equipment, were burnt in the fires.
Adrian has been in contact with a web developer in Wagga to organise a campaign to sell bottles that were saved due to being stored in the cellars (which managed to escape the fire's wrath). He is planning on launching a website to not only sell his remaining produce, but to donate some of the profits to the Tumbarumba community as they band together to overcome the disaster.
Adrian's hope is that selling off his remaining stock may help keep his business afloat - but with a 5 year wait to grow grapes again, Adrian is expecting little to no personal income in the foreseeable future. Business income will be primarily redirected to his locally-based staff, who have also suffered great personal losses due to the fire.
Please show your support by donating today - even only a small amount will help give him a roof over his head, clothing, food and daily living essentials.
