Emergency Bill Payments for Needles the Dog!
Donation protected
I'm using a photo of my cute dog to draw you in. This is a manipulation tactic.
My name is Samuel K. I'm disabled and live with my disabled mother in Indianapolis. Two years ago, I lost my job as a result of some compounding health problems and have been in the process of signing up for disability. While that's been going on, my mother has been working as a nurse to support us both, but after some health problems of her own, we have fallen behind in our bills.
It was already going to be a lean two weeks because my mother had scheduled two mortgage payments in an attempt to get caught up and avoid foreclosure. Friday (Feb. 10) is her payday, and that transfer of $2400 is going to go through no matter what. What we didn't count on was the power being shut off due to non-payment, adding another $440 to get it switched back on. Plus, my mother missed work last week and as a result, lost a portion of the income she was counting on to cover the double mortgage payment. All this, along with other bills scheduled to autopay on her payday, is going to put us roughly $1000 in the red before the sun even comes up Friday morning.
We've got a freezer full of food. We've got dog food for the above-mentioned dog. We just need a little boost to get us over a rough patch and avoid getting slaughtered by the bank's overdraft fees. Any donation over $25 gets a custom thank-you sketch from me. Just include what you want a sketch of, within reasonable limits. Oh also I should mention I'm an artist, not just some dingbat, so I know what I'm doing. It'll be a good drawing. If you donate more, we can talk about some more elaborate art as a way of saying thanks.
I know I just did this about a year ago when my truck got repossessed and I can't thank you all enough for helping me with that. With any luck, my disability will finally be approved (I just had what may be my final evaluation two weeks ago) and this will never happen again. In the meantime, I thank you all so much for your generosity.
