As many of you know, our mom passed away in January of 2024. My sister Amy and my 7-year-old niece have been living in the house since my mother was alive, and Amy was mom's full-time caregiver. Currently, the house and estate are being handled by a mediator appointed by the state, and the property is in the process of being closed the first week of August. My sister and niece must vacate beforehand. We do not currently have any funds or resources for my family to move and will not see any money from the sale of the house until after our mother's estate is settled and all our mother's outstanding debts are paid.

We are going to attempt to look for other assistance through the state, but from experience being disabled, it's not an easy task, and you're just looked at as a case number.

I'm looking to get her some money to hopefully find my sister and niece something that they can find an apartment to live in for security deposit, rent, moving, and storage costs.

I would also consider if someone would give me a personal loan until the funds are released from the estate.
