Hello everyone, my name is Albert Caluya, and I’m creating this GoFundMe for my good friend, Grayling Rostata. He lives in the Philippines and isn’t able to set this up himself, so I’m stepping in to help share his story and ask for support during one of the hardest moments of his life.

On November 6, 2025, I was in a serious accident on my way to work. In less than 30 seconds on the road, I hit a wire stretched across the street. It wrapped around my hand and motorcycle tire, stopping me instantly and throwing me head and shoulder first onto the pavement.

I suffered a deep cut to my right hand—down to the bone—and unbearable pain in my shoulder. First responders nearby treated me quickly, and X-rays revealed that my clavicle was fractured. After my hand was stitched, I was sent home because I couldn’t afford the medical steel required for surgery.

The pain became overwhelming. My wife and brother-in-law rushed to find a private hospital that would admit me, and there we learned my clavicle was actually broken into three pieces. By God’s grace, I was able to undergo surgery on November 8, and I’m now recovering at home.

This experience has been devastating for my family. I don’t have health insurance, and the medical bills, medications, daily expenses, and now being unable to work have placed a heavy burden on us. We tried seeking accountability, but the company involved was found not liable, leaving us with all the costs.

My family and I are humbly asking for help to get through this difficult time. Every donation will go directly toward medical bills, lost wages, medication, basic expenses, and repairs to the motorcycle I rely on for work. We are hoping to raise $8,000, and truly, any amount will help more than you know.
