Emergency Assistance for the Barker Family

Hello, my name is Amber Wade and I am fundraising for a precious family that goes to my church. The unthinkable happened on 03/21/2024 when their 18 year old son, Miles Clark, was involved a horrific car accident. He was flown out by helicopter from Yuma District Hospital to Medical Center of the Rockies where a major life saving heart surgery, an aortic stint placement, was done. This young man had chest tubes placed in both lungs because they collapsed and they are currently still in place. He has several fractures throughout his upper body (clavicle, ribs, jaw that will need surgically repaired) and he has a lacerated spleen. He will be recovering and rehabilitating for several days to weeks in the hospital. Of course, when something completely unthinkable happens, it's hard to be prepared. So, this family could really use some help. They are going to be missing a lot of work, will have tons of medical bills adding up, especially for the flight, and will have to be able to maintain their home in Yuma for as long as it takes for Miles to recover- not to mention, they will need funds to be able to stay and eat while in Loveland. Miles will also need a new phone. It has been missing since the accident and we are assuming it was demolished.
