Hi, my name is Javey Woods. I'm from Roatan Bay Islands of Honduras. I'm doing this GoFundMe through my mother's address because here in Honduras it can't be done.

I'm here seeking help from the community with anything you guys can give. The reason why I'm doing this is because of my left knee; my ligaments and meniscus are damaged very badly and leads to me having to do an emergency surgery, it's called "Arthroscopic surgery" because of playing soccer in my home country. The more time passes, the worse it gets, with pain 24/7. Certain things I can't achieve on a daily basis.

Soccer is something I've been doing since I was very young, and I'm also a father of one kid (profile picture with mom and son). The economic situation here in my home country is not so good. I'm asking for help in this manner because I have him to raise, and with a bad knee, it's not looking so good for me. I work in tourism on the island of Roatan, where I'm from. I've done excursions with a lot of tourists from all over the world through the years, and I've built friendships with many of them. So, whatever you guys can give will be a blessing.
