Please Help Alma & Makko’s Furry Friends Cover Urgent Vet Bills

We’re reaching out with heavy hearts — but ones with hope for support too. Over the past few weeks alone, we have faced an overwhelming wave of vet costs exceeding £2000. As a small, non-profit rescue this is unsustainable.

These bills include:

Neutering and microchipping

FIV/FeLV testing

Surgical costs for Mika and Barnaby

X-rays and diagnostic care such as ultrasound scans and blood tests

Ongoing medications for our elderly and palliative care cats

Multiple vet visits for several of our beloved residents in foster — Marigold, Mr L, Mika, Barnaby, Susie, Ollie, Ginger, Dottie, Panda, Franka, and Mr Black to name a few.

Every one of these precious souls has a story — many were abandoned, injured, given up for rehoming or simply forgotten street cats, often with FIV, dental issues or chronic eye issues. We’re often their last hope, many have been turned away by larger, better funded rescues. But as a small mother and daughter rescue run entirely on love, our own wages, limited time and public kindness, we need all the support we can get. Without your help, our ability to continue as we are hangs in the balance. We now find ourselves having no choice but to close our doors because we cannot fund everything ourselves and future cats like these will have no one. What happens then?
