Emergency Appeal : LETS DIGNIFY OUR DECEASED
As-salâmu ‘Alaykum Wa Rahmatullâhi Wa Barakâtuhu
We pray you are all in the best of Imaan & health, Ameen.
Manchester Central Mosque (Jamiat Ul-Muslimeen) is fundraising for the benefit of the Muslims in the Greater Manchester Area who have died from either COVID-19 or other causes and may not be able to afford funeral and burial costs.

As Muslims, it is our DUTY to ensure the deceased are given a dignified Islamic burial. The Coronavirus pandemic is putting a huge strain on Muslim burial services. As you will be aware the NHS is stretched beyond its means and unfortunately this will get worse in the days ahead. Thus far we have managed to keep things ticking over but now need the assistance from the public. Please donate generously
We are raising funds for:
- Conduct of funerals
- Burials
- Purchase of PPE equipment
- Coffins
- Shroud (Kafan)
- Any other funeral related equipment.

We are also in urgent need of funds to subsidise funerals for:
- The deceased that have NO next of Kin.
- Muslims in the Greater Manchester Area who are financially struggling.
There has been cases where unfortunately there has been more that one death in the same household and this is putting a great financial strain on families, people have lost jobs, facing financial hardship and just don’t have the means to pay for the funeral of their loved ones. In time of bereavement, no Muslim should have to worry about how to cover the costs of a funeral. We want to take ownership of this and support Muslims in the Greater Manchester Area.
We must communicate to the community that no Muslim deceased should remain in the mortuary unclaimed and everyone should be given a dignified Islamic burial.

Why you should give
"The example of those who spend their wealth in Allah’s way is similar to that of a grain which has sprouted seven stalks and in each stalk are a hundred grains; and Allah may increase it still more than this, for whomever He wills; and Allah is Most Capable, All Knowing."
{Qur’an 2:261}
A investment with 700% increase on returns, either in this world, or on the scales of deeds, or in the hereafter.
"Indeed we belong to Allah and indeed it is to Him we are to return.”
{Qur’an 2:156}
Wa-alaykum ‘As-salâm Wa Rahmatullâhi Wa Barakâtuhu
