Hi I'm Shabana. I'm organising a Snowdon hike to raise money for those affected by the devastating floods in Sylhet.

Bangladesh is currently fighting one of the worst floods in history. Millions of people have lost their homes and livelihoods, my parents’ villages being one of them, causing hundreds of thousands of people to seek refuge in nearby schools. Bangladesh already suffers one of the worst poverties in the world - I can’t begin to explain the hardship this is putting the local people through. More than half of the population are farmers and need their land to make a living. The floods have stripped people of their homes and income; it will take years to rebuild from here.

So please donate whatever you can! Funds will be donated to those directly affected.
