Emergency Appeal: Help Families Affected by the Devastating Wildfires in Algeria

Feltham Hira Masjid is organising this emergency fundraiser to support families affected by the devastating wildfires currently spreading across parts of Algeria.

Algeria is facing a serious wildfire emergency, with communities in northern and northeastern parts of the country badly affected. Fires have destroyed forests, threatened homes and livelihoods, and forced families to leave their communities.

Tragically, people have lost their lives and many others have been injured. Families have been displaced and are facing the immediate challenge of finding safety, shelter and essential supplies.

As a community mosque, Feltham Hira Masjid is appealing to our community and the wider public to come together and support those affected.

Funds raised through this appeal will be used to provide urgent humanitarian assistance to affected families, including essential food, water, emergency supplies and other necessities, depending on the needs identified on the ground.

We will seek to work with trusted contacts and/or appropriate organisations in Algeria to ensure that assistance reaches those most in need.
