Last night, a severe fire tragically destroyed the home of a Mansfield family, leaving two parents and their four children homeless. Thankfully, everyone is safe—but they lost everything in the blaze, escaping with only the clothes they were wearing.
Cllr Anne Callaghan is coordinating urgent community support to help them rebuild their lives. The family has received emergency support from the council to cover their immediate needs for the weekend, but longer-term help is desperately needed.
We are kindly asking the community for donations including:
- Clothing and footwear
- Bedding and household items
- Cash donations to help the family secure immediate essentials
All donations, big or small, will make a genuine difference to help this family through an incredibly challenging time.
Note: This appeal is entirely focused on emergency support for the family. Please understand it has been organised purely out of community spirit, compassion, and urgent need.
