Emergency Appeal: Bangladesh Flood Relief Fund

Bangladesh is currently enduring one of the darkest periods in its history. The recent Student-Led Quota Reform movement successfully dethroned the Indian-backed autocratic regime of Hasina, but not without a heavy toll. Over 1,000 lives were lost as the government, aided by law enforcement and Bangladesh Awami League goons, brutally attempted to sabotage the movement. Hasina has since fled to India, where she is now under the political shelter of the Modi government.

The newly established Interim Government is working tirelessly to root out corruption and stabilize Bangladesh. But as Bangladesh attempts to heal and rebuild, its open secret to everyone in Bangladesh and also in the international community that India and its intelligence agency, RAW, have been relentless in their efforts to destabilize us. In a recent and devastating act, India opened its dam without warning, unleashing catastrophic floods across Bangladesh.

Three districts—Feni, Noakhali, and Comilla—have been hit the hardest. Entire communities have been submerged under the torrent, with homes, crops, and livelihoods completely destroyed. Thousands of lives have been lost in the flooding, and the families who survived have lost everything. They are now in desperate need of our help.
