Emergency Animal Care Funds For Emilys Farm
Donation protected
On the afternoon of August 29th, 2023, Emily was hit from behind by a semi tractor trailer driving 65 mph. Her truck was totaled, and Emily sustained multiple broken ribs, a punctured and deflated lung, fluid in her chest, a blood clot in her neck, and a spinal injury.
We are beyond grateful that she survived this event but realize it will be a long road to recovery. Emily needs to use all of her energy on healing. This GoFundMe was created so that we can cover the animal care expenses for her small farm that she runs on her own. Her farm consists of 3 horses, multiple ducks, geese, chickens, and guinea fowls. The goal is to raise enough money to cover food, supplies, and someone to care for her farm while she recovers. Emily is an incredible human who has been with Appalachian Wild since 2020, and we want to do absolutely everything possible to support her during this time. Thank you so much for your help!
