I’m Alex, a Venezuelan living in Amsterdam. For years I’ve closely supported Caridad del Cobre home care, a home for the elderly in Los Chaguaramos, Caracas, where I maintain a direct and ongoing relationship.
A recent earthquake has left many families in Venezuela without access to clean water, food, and basic medicine including the elderly residents of this home, who are among the most vulnerable and have nowhere else to turn.
As a small way to help, I organized “El Gran Arepazo por Venezuela” here in Amsterdam, bringing our community together to raise funds for earthquake relief. Every euro raised goes directly toward medicine, water, and food for the elderly at Caridad del Cobre home care and other families affected by the earthquake.
I’m asking you to join us. Whatever you can give even a small amount makes a real difference for people who have lost so much. Thank you for helping us bring relief to those who need it most.
The funds raised will be used specifically to purchase medicine, bottled water, and non-perishable food for the elderly residents of Caridad del Cobre home care, as well as emergency supplies for other families in Caracas and La Guaira affected by the earthquake. All donations will be transferred directly and used exclusively for these relief efforts.
