Emergency Field Aid for Ukraine
Donation protected
Dear Family, Friends, Neighbors, Strangers, & Fellow Humans,
It has been thirty years since I moved to this country with my family. We came here from Ukraine, just after the collapse of the Soviet Union in 1992. I was a 6-year-old refugee. Luckily, we were not fleeing from active war during that time.
Now, I am a mother and have a much deeper understanding of my parent's choice to emigrate. I am incredibly grateful to be raising my children in the United States. This country we share, with a culture and language that was once foreign to me, is now my family’s home.
Since thirty years ago, when my family began our American journey, Ukraine has been developing as a democratic country. Most of you are aware of their current and horrific situation. This invasion has impacted millions of lives – many fleeing their homeland to survive while other loved ones stay behind to fight for their freedom. We can help by providing certain emergency field supplies directly to those fighting for their nation's sovereignty!
My family & I have organized this fundraiser to purchase items for the people of Ukraine dealing with this crisis.
Our goal is to use these funds to order tangible items in Ukraine or as close as possible to the that community. This will allow us to save on shipping costs - maximizing the number of goods we can purchase and the number of people who will then be equipment with these items. We will also be able to get supplies delivered to our partners in Ukraine quicker to be dispersed sooner than overseas shipping allows.
Thank you so much for your time, care, understanding, and any help you can give! Even if you can only share this fundraiser with others, please do! Every little bit of support can add up to something incredible. This equipment could save a life.
Currently, folks are preparing to battle through winter and we would like to help them. Funds will be used to purchase items such as: IFAKs, outdoor heaters, and other winter survival supplies.
Again, THANK YOU & SLAVA UKRAINI!
