Heavy rains and intense storms in Sri Lanka, has sparked flooding and landslides that have killed at least 150 people.

Red alerts for immediate evacuations have been issued across multiple Divisional Secretariat areas in Badulla, Kandy, Kegalle, Kurunegala, Matale, Monaragala, and Nuwara Eliya districts due to heightened landslide risks. At least 20 districts face impacts, with Badulla, Kandy, Nuwara Eliya, Chilaw, Puttalam, and Ampara suffering the most severe damage due to weather crisis

Goal 1 - We are raising funds for immediate relief for 85 families from identified areas of Rs.10,000 packs totaling USD 2,500. Due to the crisis most families who are dependent on daily wages will be forced to rely on your help to survive. This is a time to get together and help these people in need.
