Lisa Graves is my cousin and has been an incredible force throughout her life. Her grit and gumption have helped her get through so much; However, recently the tides have turned against her and her sweet son’s life. Her wonderful husband, Matthew Graves, shockingly and suddenly passed away, as she performed CPR relentlessly, trying to save the father of her only son until paramedics could assist. Tragically, Matthew did not make it.

Matthew was a caregiving individual who was always there for Lisa and their son, Declan. He was a standing pillar in their life, as Declan had been born prematurely and also suffers from autism. Lisa had been able to try and make ends meet while Matthew lovingly cared for Declan and still worked when he could as well. Life has been difficult, as it goes, for this beautiful family, and unfortunately now with Matthew’s passing, that additional caregiving and income is gone. On top of grieving this inexplicable loss, this woman now has to figure out how she’s going to pay bills, debts, and even try to downsize her home for her and her sweet son, who is also in need.

Lisa is trying to navigate paying off previous debts, downsizing a home, maintaining an income, and caring for her disabled son all on her own shoulders right now. The thing is, she doesn’t need to be so burdened. If anyone can spare even $20 for this incredible woman to help herself and her son in such a dire time of need and pain, it would mean the world to them.
