Emergency Aid for International students
Donation protected
Lots of international students are living here with no jobs, no income, no food, no supports, and their families are no longer able to support due to financial crisis back home. Another group of students are staying in different countries and has not returned home for a couple of months somewhere in Asia with the same issue above.
With the privilege that I have been receiving and I'm feeling lucky than other fellow students, I donate with my own funds $2,500 to help 5 students (2 for International students who live within the U.S. and 3 for International students who have not returned to the home country) for foods or anything that they needed to take care for their basic needs at this point. The more money we can raise, the more students will be assisted.
With all my heart, I'm asking you guys to be a part of this and spread generosity, empathy, and cares for others who in need. With $1-5 seems nothing, but it's getting bigger with more number of donors. I hope the POWER OF CONNECTIONS that I have made in this country will make these emergency funds happen!
I helped and sent my sister who studies and lives in Japan who could not work when she said, "Could you please help me with foods?" I sent her right away $1,000 to support her because it happened to me and I know how it feels to be hungry and lonely during a time like this. If she asked for something else about shopping, I'd say NO! That's my personality.
Where is this idea coming from?
As a graduate International student, I'm planning to return to Vietnam after 5 years living in the U.S. to start up a service/business as a mentor to help International students to have a smooth transition to adapt to American cultures, mindset, skill sets, increase self-esteem and self-confidence.
Unfortunately, I could not able to leave the country due to government traveling restrictions to fly back and the ticket will cost over $2-5,000 for a one-way ticket and 4 months waiting period. In order to remain my status, I tried with different schools, but could not get a hold of anyone. Finally, I was able to transfer to another community college. I'm grateful for the International student coordinator at Chabot College in Hayward, CA that helped me to get my application even though it passed a deadline for a week.
I just completed my OPT on July 31st, 2020, and I also grateful that I have been delivering goods to save up money while others could not work. I'm no longer working anymore and are also getting worried about it might happen to me! However, GIVING and NOT ASKING ANYTHING IN RETURN no matter how poor/rich I am, something good will return eventually. It's my mantra.

I'm truly appreciated your help and please leave the contact info so I can connect with you and also show my appreciation! If there is anything I can do for you for FREE, I WILL!
