My name is Fernando, and I’m reaching out for help during a very challenging time.

About a year ago, i was hit with the news, i had colon cancer. Luckily, after months of chemo and radiation, i can report I'm cancer free. Two months after that, I went into the hospital with severe emphysema and cardiac afib which makes it really difficult to breathe and the reason i use oxygen.

Not long ago, I experienced a heartbreaking accident in my apartment in Deerfield Beach. I tripped and fell—landing directly on my dog, Mandy. Her jaw was broken, and she needed emergency surgery to recover.

Thanks to urgent veterinary care, Mandy is now healing well and doing great, eventhough her jaw willalways be out of place and I've had to adjusther eating habits. . But the cost of her treatment—paid entirely on credit—has left me in a financial crisis.

Mandy came into my life after being rescued from an abusive home environment. She struggles with emotional connection and trust, yet I’ve committed myself to giving her the love, safety, and care she deserves. She’s not just a pet—she’s one of the reasons I can get up every day.

Now, I’m struggling to cover basic living expenses and stay housed. I’m asking for your kindness and support to help me recover financially from this emergency and continue caring for Mandy.
