Emergency Christmas Appeal - The past year has been catastrophic for ordinary people in Gaza, as we delve further into winter, conditions will only worsen for those displaced in Gaza.

We are launching a Christmas Appeal push to organise and fundraise for emergency winter packages over the winter period. With packages containing food, clothes, blankets and other much needed items for those most in need in Gaza.

Gaza - Belfast Emergency Relief Fund

Over the past month a small group of individuals from both the Palestinian community and the Irish community in Belfast have been working together raising vital funds to provide direct, grassroots aid to those most in need in Gaza.

This past month we have raised over £2000+ alone, which managed to buy over 60 bags of flour (in order to make vast volumes of bread to distribute amongst those displaced in tents at the Rafah crossing), vital food aid, as well as medicine. We are distributing our emergency relief aid to displaced Palestinian families who have been forced into tents along the Rafah border, as their homes have been destroyed.

How do we manage to get aid directly to those in need?

The local Palestinian community in Belfast has members who's families are still in Gaza currently, we work directly with their relatives on the ground to source the aid, and then they are the ones who distribute it personally.

We manage to get the aid directly to those most in need by locally sourcing supplies from local businesses, warehouses and storehouses on the ground in Gaza. As Israeli and Egyptian forces are preventing aid entering Gaza - we are doing what we can to locally source everything via grassroots community sourcing. However now supplies are running out, prices have increased, and queues are getting longer and longer. We are now doing what we can to urgently raise as much money as we can to continue this vital emergency aid relief, before internal supplies run out.

Your donations will be used on buying flour, and other staple food items, as well as medicine and winter supplies.

We have included photos from some of the aid we have managed to distribute amongst the makeshift refugee camps across the Rafah border, we have blurred the faces to protect the identities and integrity of the recipients of our aid. As we raise more donations, we will update you with more photos and videos, of just how important your donations are.
